Demonstrating their ongoing commitment to the Chicago community, Chicago Recovery Community, Inc. once again partnered with New Life Southeast Church to host a heartwarming “Winter Wonderland Toy and Coat Giveaway.”
Held on December 14th at 7621 S. Greenwood Ave., this special event brought warmth and cheer to local families during the colder months. Beyond toys and coats, Chicago Recovery Community went the extra mile by providing handmade pillows and blankets, along with essential toiletries such as hand wipes, hand warmers, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitizer, tissue, deodorant, and sanitary products. They also distributed much-needed snacks, hats, and gloves.
This generous initiative underscores Chicago Recovery Community’s dedication to not only fostering hope but also directly addressing the practical needs of the community. By providing these items, they offered comfort and support during the winter season, embodying their mission to create positive change through compassionate action.
