Chicago Recovery Community Hosts Community Bowling Fundraiser Supporting Veterans

On May 23, 2026, Chicago Recovery Community (CRC) brought community members together for an afternoon of fun, fellowship, and purpose during its Bowling Fundraiser held at Tinley Park Bowling Alley.

Designed to support veterans and individuals on their recovery journey, the event created an opportunity for participants to connect while contributing to a meaningful cause. Through friendly competition, food, music, and community engagement, attendees gathered to demonstrate the power of coming together in support of healing and recovery.

Participants joined one of several themed teams, including the Black Team, Purple Team, Red Team, White Team, and Blue Team, adding excitement and camaraderie throughout the event. While bowling served as the centerpiece of the afternoon, the true purpose extended far beyond the lanes.

The fundraiser reflected CRC’s ongoing commitment to creating pathways toward stability, connection, and hope for individuals and families throughout the community. Funds raised through events like this help support programs and services that empower individuals facing hardship, homelessness, and recovery-related challenges.

“Events like our Bowling Fundraiser remind us that community support can take many forms,” said Chicago Recovery Community leadership. “When people come together for a shared purpose, we strengthen relationships, encourage healing, and create opportunities for lasting impact.”

Chicago Recovery Community extends its gratitude to every participant, volunteer, supporter, and community partner who helped make the event possible. Together, we continue building stronger communities through compassion, connection, and service.
